1. Special Consideration (Deferred Exam)
Some important information for the coming examination period; Students who need to apply for special consideration (deferred exam), please make sure that
- you have read the eligibility criteria carefully – see page 1 of the application form
- you submit the completed application with valid supporting documentation no later than two University working days after your last exam
- if you apply for special consideration due to serious illness, the medical certificate needs to verify that you are unfit to sit the exam
Note: Students who complete the final examination will not be eligible for special consideration. A mark adjustment will not be made under any circumstances.
The University special consideration policy as well as the application form can be located here. The deferred examination period for Trimester 2 is August 23rd and 24th, 2012. It is University policy that no results can be released to students before the official publication date under any circumstances and students are advised to take this into consideration when making plans for Semester 2.
