1. Monash Mental Health Week
With one in five Australians experiencing some form of mental illness, Monash Mental Health Week, from 8 to 12 October, aims to raise awareness of the importance of mental health at Monash through a great variety of events across each campus.
2. Scholarship
In 2013 the Order of Australia Association Foundation will sponsor a scholarship for a Monash student valued at $40,000 and provide an opportunity of an ongoing mentor with a member of the Order of Australia.
The successful applicant must be in the 2nd year of study in a select Law/Business and Economics degrees and demonstrate qualities of leadership, initiative and involvement in community affairs. Students must also be able to demonstrate their need for financial assistance to benefit the completion of their degree.
