1. Scholarship

In 2013 the Order of Australia Association Foundation will sponsor a scholarship for a Monash student valued at $40,000 and provide an opportunity of an ongoing mentor with a member of the Order of Australia.

The successful applicant must be in the 2nd year of study in a select Law/Business and Economics degrees and demonstrate qualities of leadership, initiative and involvement in community affairs. Students must also be able to demonstrate their need for financial assistance to benefit the completion of their degree.

2. Victims of Crime

Victims of Crime Counselling & Compensation Services promotes the rights of victims of crime throughout Australia.

We have a NEWS section on our website which disseminates information relevant to victims of crime. See: www.victimsofcrime.com.au

We would like to invite others to contribute to this site, particularly those with a legal, criminology of psychology background. Topics of interest may include, but certainly not limited to, the effects of trauma, the criminal process and treatment for recovery.

We would like as much support as possible to the dissemination of relevant information to promote the best interest of victims of crime.
