1. Postgraduate Consultative Committee

The Postgraduate Consultative Committee will be meeting next week on Wednesday 10th July and would like to invite you to raise any student concerns or topics for discussion.

The purpose of the committee is to serve as a liaison group, to foster exchange of views and information between students and staff on student concerns arising out of educational and administrative issues in relation to the postgraduate program and the provision of student services and facilities.

PS. This is not a call for any teaching and learning issues which are to be handled by Graduate Studies Sub-Committee.


2. Scholarship Opportunity

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is a global management consulting firm and a leading advisor on business strategy to major corporations, government bodies and not-for-profits.

Applications are now open for the prestigious 2013 BCG Scholarship. The successful applicant will receive $15,000 and mentoring from BCG. An application is opportunity not only to compete for the Scholarship but also to learn about what we do and, potentially, be eligible for a full-time position or an internship.

The recipient of the BCG Scholarship will demonstrate exceptional ability in the following areas – academic performance, leadership, critical thinking and be a great communicator. Past Scholarship recipients have come from a range of fields including law, commerce, arts, science and medicine.
