We aim to bring over 100 young people from across the state together with representatives from local and state government and workers in the youth sector, to discuss the core challenges they are facing. This event will provide opportunities for young people to shape the direction of youth affairs in Victoria through providing feedback and recommendations to government that best address the matters affecting young people.
The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria (YACVic) is the state’s peak advisory and advocacy body for youth in Victoria and reports directly to the state government’s Office of Youth. The Youth Reference Group is a subsidiary of YACVic, whose membership is comprised solely of young people between the ages of 15 and 25.
