3. Paris in the Spring!

The Faculty of Law and the Australian Centre for Justice Innovation are proud to announce that Monash University has been selected to participate in the 9th Annual International Chamber of Commerce mediation competition to be held in Paris on 7 -12 February 2014. The lucky students to represent the first Monash University team at this prized competition must be chosen no later than 3 November 2013. We are accepting applications from students who have taken Collaborative Law, Mediation, or Negotiation units. Although, the cost to participate in the competition (travel and accommodation) is largely self-funded, ACJI will help students raise money to put towards those expenses. We will also help explore sponsorship opportunities. ACJI will provide two coaches to assist to prepare the team and will provide on the ground support. Students will need to be available for coaching sessions at least once a week for the six weeks leading up to the competition. Please submit your CV, a short biography and a two-hundred word essay telling us why you would like to participate in the competition. Please submit these materials to suzanne.gremaux@monash.edu by midnight Friday 25 October 2013.

Please note that Units in different teaching periods will get surveyed online at different times. We do value your feedback about our Units and we would really like to hear about what you think we are doing well and what still needs improving in each of our Units. We would really appreciate it please if you could complete a SETU survey for each Unit in which you are enrolled. Thank you very much for your assistance with this important quality process.
