1. A Negotiation Framework for Dispute Resolution

Workshop presenter, Russell Korobkin is the professor and faculty director of the UCLA School of Law Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Program. He is also a visiting professor at the respected Harvard program on Negotiation.
This workshop provides a useful prism to tackle every negotiation and is the third year it is being run in Melbourne. This is a superb course, and a must for mediators and legal professionals. The day is packed, fully catered and has worthy CPD content.

2. Meet a Professional: Law Panel Discussion

Hear from a range of law professionals who will share details of their career stories, professional experiences, insights and tips for current law students. This is a facilitated panel discussion event, with Q&A time at the end.

3. Sir Zelman Cowen Memorial Oration: Chief Justice the Hon Robert French AC

Venue: S1 Lecture Theatre, 43 Rainforest Walk, Monash University, Clayton
The oration is an annual lecture celebrating the life and legacy of Sir Zelman Cowen, a distinguished scholar, educator, civic leader and – for five years – Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. It address themes of law, justice, leadership, community, education, public policy and Australian identity.
The 2015 oration will be delivered by the Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, the Honourable Robert French AC.
This event is free for students: registration is required. General admission is $10.
