1. Applications open for JD Professional Practice LAW 5050
Applications are open for Clinical Period 2 2016 of the Professional Practice Elective Unit which takes place at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service, next to Clayton campus.
Clinical Period 2 2016 dates are: for Group A- 11 February 2016- 12 May 2016 & for Group B-15 February 2016- 16 May 2016. Applications close on 15 January 2016.

2. JD Elective Information and Waiting List
JD students interested in understanding more about the JD electives can visit the FAQ page here.
In the event that a class that you want to be enrolled into is full, you may request to be placed on the waiting list after 27 November 2015 by emailing law-pgstudents@monash.edu.
We will contact you should a place become available.
Please note that there is no guarantee that there will be a place available for those on the waiting list.
3. Library Skills – Planning, Preparing and Writing Long Essays
Library: City – Law Chambers
This seminar will assist students in developing strategies to research the literature, structure an argument and write a logical and coherent legal essay.
This will benefit JD students about to commence electives where they are required to write long essays of around 6000 words.
