1. Aurora Internship Program

The Aurora Internship Program places law, anthropology and other social science students and graduates at Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs), Prescribed Bodies Corporates (PBCs) and at other organisations involved in policy development, research and social justice, all working to support the broader Indigenous sector Australia-wide.

The Program introduces candidates to career opportunities in native title and the Indigenous sector and at the same time provides assistance to under-resourced and over-worked organisations.

The on-line application period for the Winter 2016 round of internships is from Monday 7th March through Friday 1 April 2016.

2. Faculty Managed Internship Opportunity – Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) Internship

Applications are now open and close Thursday 14 April 2016 for a three month internship from September to November 2016.

3. King’s College London Pathway Opportunity

Would you like to graduate with a qualification from Monash University and King’s College London?

The Faculty of Law offers a pathway opportunity to study the Master of Laws (LLM) at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London (King’s) for outstanding Monash students enrolled in either:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB); or

• Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) (JD).

If successful, you will begin your studies at King’s in September/October. At that time you must have no more than four (4) elective units left to complete in your Monash qualification.

5. LSS Special General Meeting + Meet & Greet

On Monday 21 March, the Monash LSS will be holding a Special General Meeting to discuss our financial reports from financial year 2015.

Following this, a meet and greet will be held to allow our newer members to get to know their committee and ask questions. Pizza will be provided!

You will be part of a team which provides advice to clients experiencing a wide range of legal problems.
