3. Monash University Law Review Editorial Committee Applications Now Open

Applications are open for places on the Editorial Committee of the Monash University Law Review for 2017.

The Review is the flagship academic publication of the Faculty of Law. It is managed by a student editorial team, with the assistance of faculty advisers. The editorial team undertakes a range of tasks, such as copy-editing, managing correspondence, and arranging production of the Review. The Editorial Committee in particular mainly undertakes the editing of articles in accordance with the AGLC, collation and review of sources, and proofreading. To find out more about the review, please visit our website.

Involvement with the Review provides students with valuable practical skills in legal research, writing and editing, and is highly regarded by law firms and other potential employers.

If you would like to apply to join the Editorial Committee, please send your CV, covering letter, and unofficial academic transcript to law.review@monash.edu by Friday 10 February 2017 with the subject line ‘2017 Committee Application’. Your cover letter should outline your reasons for applying and your suitability for the role. Please also include your expected graduation date. Applicants with at least one full year of study remaining will be preferred.

If you wish to discuss this role, please feel free to contact the 2017 Editors — Neal Chandru, Andrew Chong, Freeman Zhong and Siobhan Lane — at the above email address.

Students will be notified if they have progressed to the next stage of the application process – an editing exercise – shortly following close of applications.
