1. Legal Project Management (LAW5471)

Starting in July 2021 for Masters and JD students, Legal Project Management (LAW5471) provides a framework to operationalise innovation in legal practice.

Legal project management skills enhance your employment prospects in the current legal services market, and indeed also to wider industry opportunities.

You will work in project management groups in a legal setting and communicate effectively to team members, project stakeholders and sponsors.

Case studies and live examples used in this unit, including for the assessment pieces, will include international content.

2. Learn about dispute resolution from former judges (LAW5475)

Take your knowledge of commercial dispute resolution to the next level.

This is a unique opportunity for Monash Law students (JD and Masters) and practising lawyers to learn from experts including former Supreme Court judges who draw upon a lifetime of experience deciding complex commercial cases, as well as their current practise as international commercial arbitrators.

Issues in Transnational Dispute Resolution (LAW 5475) is taught by former Victorian Chief Justice Marilyn Warren, former Justice Clyde Croft (who was judge in charge of the Arbitration List in the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria), and Dr Drossos Stamboulakis.
