1. Disruptions to Library Services
The Library is upgrading its management system. There will be an impact on some services including loans, holds, renewals, reading lists and Search, between Saturday 17 August and Wednesday 4 September.
Holds
All holds will be cancelled automatically and you will be notified via email. No new holds can be placed before Wednesday 4 September.
Renewals
You may not be able to renew items during this period.
Fines
Fines will not be applied from Wednesday 28 August to Sunday 1 September.
Search
Holds, renewals and your e-shelf may be unavailable in Search. From 29 August, information about the availability of items in Search may be out of date.
SMS
Courtesy notices, overdue and hold notifications will be discontinued from 17 August. Monitor your loans to avoid fines via Search or my.monash portal.
