PEERS 2013
The PEERS program is an initiative run by the Disability liaison unit to help students negotiate their way around the Monash environment. The program matches students registered with the DLU with suitable student volunteers for regular meetings throughout semester, and it a great opportunity to meet new people and get involved in the Monash community.
PEERS volunteers can work to provide a wide range of assistance including accompanying students to social events, mobility and navigation around the campus and referring them support from various Monash services. All PEERS Volunteers are trained and supported by the Disability Liaison Unit.
We would like to invite students registered with the DLU and to register their interest in being matched with a student volunteer. Please follow the links to lodge your expression of interest.
If you are interested in volunteering please complete the application form.
We encourage mature age students, as well as students registered with the DLU to apply as volunteers to support other students.
