Science Week Maker Workshops
National Science Week – Australia’s Annual Celebration of Science and Technology
Running in August each year, National Science Week features more than 1000 events around Australia, including those delivered by schools, universities, research institutions, libraries, museums and science centres.
For 2019, Dr Kirsten Ellis has received support from the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science to run maker workshops that are accessible to all.
Expressions of Interest Sought from Students with Disability
Workshops will be running on 15 August at Peninsula Campus and 16 August on Clayton campus from 3.30-5.30pm, and organisers would like to try include as many people as possible from the Monash community.
If you identify as having a disability, and are interested in taking part in one of the maker workshops, please email lizzie.crouch@monash.edu to express your interest in participating with the following information:
- Which workshop you’re interested attending
- If there are any particular accommodations or adjustments you require that we should consider so you can participate fully
