STEMLabs – Applications OPEN!

Applications now open for the STEMLabs April 2019 Program!

This is suited for you if you are:

  • Looking for an opportunity to experiment with your STEMLabs Skills in a safe, understanding and nurturing environment.
  • Wanting to better understand your autism in order to thrive in the workplace.
  • Looking to recognise your strengths, talents and abilities in a supportive, practical and hands-on environment.
  • Have an interest in IT.

The program is free and is strictly limited to just 10 places.

The applications close promptly at 1pm on Tuesday 23rd April, 2019. The candidates will be notified of their outcome by 5pm, Friday 26th April, 2019.

The successful candidates will then be invited to the training and assessment program commencing on Monday 29th April, 2019 and conclude on Friday 17th May, 2019 between the hours of 9.30am – 4.30pm. Please note the program will not be held on any Tuesday.

The program will be held at Max Employment St Kilda, 31 Wellington Street, St Kilda, Victoria, 3182.

Participant Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or over
  • Must have a diagnosis of autism (including Autism spectrum disorder, Asperger’s disorder, Autistic disorder, or PDD-NOS)
  • Must have Australian residency or citizenship
  • Must be able to attend the 3-week assessment phase beginning Monday 29th April, 2019 through to Friday 17th May, 2019. Please note training will not be held on any Tuesday.
  • Should live within a daily commutable distance of St Kilda/Melbourne CBD.
