Law Library Notices

1. Easier Access to Reserve and Holds

The Law Library now has an open Reserve collection. You can browse the collection and use the books in the Reserve area without borrowing, or collect a book and borrow via self loans or the Loans desk. Holds have also moved to open access and are located at the beginning of the Commonwealth Legislation collection on Level 1. Collect your hold and take it to self loans or the Loans desk to borrow.

2. Learning Skills Drop-ins

Trish Hughes, Law Learning Skills Adviser, will be located at the Research and Learning desk on Level 1 of the Law Library during her drop-in times throughout semester – Wednesdays and Fridays 12 – 2pm.

3. Meeting Rooms for Group Study

Meeting rooms on Level 4 are now open to students during all Library opening times. Bookings to use these rooms for group work for 2 hours can still be made at the Loans desk, and these take preference over students without a booking. Keys are no longer required. Please remember that Level 4 is a quiet zone.
