1. Aurora Native Title Internship Program

The Aurora Native Title Internship Program places law, anthropology and other social science (archaeology, cultural heritage, environmental management,  human geography, history and sociology) students and graduates from Australian universities at Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs) and other organisations involved in policy development, social justice, human rights, all with an Indigenous focus.   The program introduces candidates to career opportunities in native title and Indigenous affairs more generally and at the same time provides assistance to under-resourced and over-worked organisations.

The application period for the winter 2013 round of internships is open from 9am AEDT Monday 4th March AEDT through Thursday 28th March 2013.  Applications can be submitted via the Aurora website.

2. Judicial Clerk (Tipstaff)

The Chief Justice of New South Wales is seeking applicants for the position of Judicial Clerk (Tipstaff) for 2014. The successful applicant is expected to continue on in 2015 as Research Director.
The closing date for applications is Friday 22 March.

3. Careers Festival

4. Moodle Careers Space

For up to date information about the Legal profession, advice from legal professionals and recordings of previous talks as well as many links to relevant Law Institute Victoria sites, please visit the Moodle Careers Space.

5. NSW Law Reform Commission

The NSW Law Reform Commission operates a winter internship program for law students in their final year of study, or entering their final year of study in 2014.

While this opportunity is unpaid, it does provide access to a range of professional development opportunities including working with their Commissioners.
