1. Faculty Managed Internship Opportunity – Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) Internship

Against this context this new unit (LAW4250, offered over Summer 2016-17) provides the foundation from which law graduates might take advantage of the increasing opportunities in global legal practice.

3. International Trade and Business Law Review – request for submissions

The Editorial Board of the International Trade and Business Law Review (‘the Review) are now inviting submissions for Volume XX of the Review.

The Review publishes leading articles consisting of original research, case notes, comments, and book reviews concerning international trade and business law, arbitration law and comparative law.

Academic staff and students now have the opportunity to make a submission to the Review.

4. Medico-Legal Society of Victoria Essay Competition

The Medico Legal Society of Victoria would like to invite final year students studying Law or Medicine to enter an essay competition.

The topic of the essay is:

“The most controversial issue the medico-legal sphere faces today is…..”

The competition is an excellent opportunity for final year students to gain access to a professional organisation prior completion of their degrees and the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals in their field.

The competition will close on Monday 30 May 2016.

Essays should be between 1500 and 2000 words in length.

Total (non-cash) Prize value is approximately $1,635.00 per Prize winner.
