1. Clerkship Masterclass – Friday 22 November

Are you undertaking a clerkship or equivalent? Then don’t miss attending the next Clerkship Masterclass, designed to build essential research and writing skills for your Clerkship.

This workshop is designed to deliver essential, practical skills relating to research, writing, preparing memos and tips to work effectively during the Clerkship. Presented by lawyers from top Law Firms, Law Faculty staff, expert staff from the Law Library and from other legal organisations.

Note: There will be nothing included on how to obtain a Clerkship. This Masterclass is designed for students who have already obtained a Clerkship or Masterclass.

As this is a practical session, please ensure that you bring a laptop with you, if possible. A detailed breakdown of the day will be provided once the program has been finalised.

 

2. Summer Internship at Infrastructure Victoria

Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice, undertakes research and guides decision making on Victoria’s infrastructure needs and priorities.

This position of intern would assist IV officers with research projects relating to any transport, energy, water, planning, amongst other areas.

Depending on the project, there could be some general literature research and analysis, writing up of this work and meeting with stakeholders.

The internship runs from December 2019 to February 2020 – can be flexible.
