3. Bird & Bird ‘GC for a day’

International law firm Bird & Bird are launching a new competition for Australian law students to be shadow a General Counsel for a day.

The prize includes a day shadowing a top GC, lunch with the GC, one on one mentoring session with an Associate, return flights to Sydney and one night’s accommodation.

Entries close Wednesday 16 March 2016.

To enter you must submit a 90-second video answering the following question:“What do you envisage as the greatest opportunity for a GC of the future?”

4. ‘From Student to Professional’ sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills

The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of different pathways available in the legal profession and for students to gain an insight and network with professionals.

Guests will speak about their experiences including challenges faced, points of significance and provide wise words of advice.

This will be followed by a short question and answer session and the evening will conclude with half an hour of networking and refreshments.
