1. 21st Century Lawyer Symposium

Monash law students are invited to a very special evening on Thursday 29 September 2016: The 21st Century Lawyer Symposium, proudly sponsored by Maddocks.

Hear from a panel of 21st century professionals talk about their career paths and how their law degrees have been instrumental in leading them to where they are now. Be inspired to think outside the box by listening them share their experiences with you, as well as provide some tips and advice.

Work rights consultations

Career Connect offers Monash students work rights consultations by appointment at both Clayton and Caulfield campuses. If you have concerns about your employment conditions, please make an appointment for a private discussion with our employment consultant.

3. Student Futures – online tool to help prepare for your career

Careers Connect have launched a website for student careers, called Student Futures.

Student Futures is an online tool to help you prepare for your career.

It helps students find opportunities, track progress toward career-oriented goals, hones in on basic job preparation (CV, interviews, etc) and contains units on employability skills.

4. Temporary/ Fixed Term Administrative Work – CBD Legal Precinct

Barristers’ Chambers Limited has temporary administrative work upcoming based around the legal precinct in the Melbourne CBD supporting our Barristers.

A variety of assignments will be available to cover annual leave and project work.

Assignments will vary in contract length and will range from entry-level administration to executive assistance.
