It can be hard to know how speak about disability information in the workplace.
Hear from the Australian Network on Disability, and alumni from the Stepping Into internship program, about ways to approach this tricky topic.

In this one-hour webinar you will have the opportunity to hear from Australian Network on Disability (AND), as well as alumni from the Stepping Into internship program.
We discuss AND programs for students with disability, tips for sharing disability information in the workplace and recruitment process, and welcome a Stepping Into alumni to speak about their experience.
This webinar is open and recommended to all Monash students who identify as having disability, mental health or chronic health conditions.

The 18-month Program offers three unique rotations across government agencies, and allows Graduates to build their own career, no matter what degree they studied.

- The Legal Stream is designed for Graduates looking to have a legal career within NSW Government, and will provide Graduates with experience in litigation, legal advice and policy development. Graduates must have a legal degree and be willing to commence and complete their Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice during the Program.

Further Education Bursaries for Students Who are Blind or have Low Vision
Each year, Vision Australia awards Further Education Bursaries to a select number of students who are blind or have low vision.
The bursaries provide adaptive technology to help students fully participate and succeed in their chosen studies. Assistive technology can eliminate barriers to education and enhance access to information. It enables students to read course material, conduct research and improve their student life.

The delivery of the 2020 UniSport Australia Esports Championships (UAEC) has been confirmed and will take place from 27 July – 10 September, 2020.
Competition Information
Four competitions will take place across the following titles:
• Rocket League – PC
• FIFA 20 – PS4
• Super Smash Bro’s. Ultimate. – Nintendo Switch
• Forza Motorsport 7 – PC *

NCSEHE PhD opportunity — Deadline extended
The deadline for the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education (NCSEHE) Higher Degree by Research (HDR) scholarship until 10 July 2020. This is a three-year scholarship which pays a cash stipend of A$27,500 (non-taxable).
Candidates must have completed an Honours Undergraduate Degree, preferably with First Class Honours, in a field related to education, social sciences or the broad humanities area. Alternatively, students should have completed a Masters by Research Degree related to the areas detailed above.
Given our equity agenda we would welcome applicants from more diverse backgrounds who may have taken more circuitous routes through higher education due to financial, employment or caring responsibilities.

Cummins South Pacific in Scoresby – Mentoring now Available
Australian Network on Disability (AND) have some fantastic mentoring opportunities in the Scoresby area.
AND run the PACE mentoring program that is open to any person that identifies as having a disability and is over 18. The program pairs the PWD with a professional mentor for 6 to 8 sessions to discuss all things education and employment.
The current opportunity is with Cummins South Pacific in Scoresby who will have 10 mentors involved in the program in a variety of areas including Engineering, Business, Finance, Business and Marketing.
