1.Moot Court Demonstration:The Art of Persuading Judges

Top advocates from Australia and the United States will display their skills before some of the most distinguished jurists of these two countries, including US Supreme Court Associate Justice, the Honourable Antonin Scalia. The Moot concerns a hypothetical cross-border dispute with parallel proceedings in the US and Australia.

Law Library Notices

1. Law Library Summer Opening Hours

A reminder that the Law Library opening hours have changed. From January 4, 2010 until Semester 1 Orientation week, the Law Library will be opening at 8am Monday to Friday and closing at 9pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 5.45pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The Library will be closed on Saturdays and open 1-5pm on Sundays.

The other Clayton branches will complement the Law Library opening over Jan/Feb with different evening openings (Matheson on Wednesdays in February and Hargrave-Andrew Library on Thursdays). Please check the 2010 opening hours cards or the Library’s website for day by day opening hours.
