Interested JD students can apply now for the Professional Practice Unit LAW5050 (JD elective).
This unit provides students with the opportunity to obtain hands-on practical experience through the Monash Oakleigh Legal Service located at 60 Beddoe Avenue, Clayton (right next to the Clayton campus).
Developed more than 30 years ago, the Monash Law clinical legal education program for students was the first of its kind in Australia.
Under expert supervision, students are provided with the opportunity to work in a busy community legal service under professional supervision. Students work with real clients and cases, learning vital skills relating to the practice of law while providing an important service to the community.
