The IBA, established in 1947, is the world’s leading organisation of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies. 2. Seeking a Volunteer – CBD Location

A sole practitioner firm with a small general practice in the Melbourne CBD, doing approximately 75% Family Law, is seeking a volunteer for 2-3 days per week.

Our past volunteers are completing/have completed post graduate courses in law allowing them to be admitted to practice.  One graduate who completed 75 days supervision in order to be admitted worked at this office approximately 3 days a week in order to comply with PLT course requirements.  He was then admitted to practice and obtained employment at a middle tier CBD firm.

The work required combines some law work with general office duties and would suit a self starter who is able to work alone.  The successful applicant will enjoy a great deal of experience in the day to day work of a sole practitioner.

Expressions of interest are invited from law graduates and those undertaking their final year of the LLB.
