The Clerkship Masterclass has been designed to deliver essential, practical skills relating to research, writing, preparing memos and tips to work effectively during a Clerkship.

The Masterclass is presented by expert staff from the Law Library, Law Faculty, lawyers from top Law Firms and from other legal organisations.

A more detailed breakdown of the day will be provided to those registered, once the program has been finalised.

2. Winter research scholarship – Australian Centre for Justice Innovation

The Australian Centre for Justice Innovation in the Law Faculty is currently advertising winter research scholarships for law students. This program will enable interested students to get insight and experience in relation to civil justice research.

The scholarship will also be recorded on recipients’ academic transcript. Applications close on Friday 24 May, and information is available here.

1. King & Wood Mallesons International Centre: 2019 PROPEL Graduate Recruitment Program

If you relish the prospect of being involved in cutting edge legal work, learning from industry experts, taking part in real-time cross border transactions, working in a fast-paced environment, you are just the sort of person KWM would like as a PROPEL Graduate!

During the 2-year program, the Propel Graduate Program provides you with the opportunity to be trained in KWM’s Hong Kong office for the first 12 months (2 six-month rotations), followed by the second year of training in either the Shenzhen or Guangzhou office, where the firm will support you to become a PRC qualified lawyer. You will gain exposure over two legal jurisdictions and work with qualified lawyers in these offices.

The Legal Associate is part of a discrete team assisting the Chief Judge in the day-to-day management of Chambers and the Court.
